Bad Jimmy’s
In 2021, I collaborated with chef James Piazza to establish the brand for Bad Jimmy's, a burger joint in the heart of Phoenix. Starting from the ground up (from pop-ups to food truck to brick and mortar), I crafted a comprehensive visual language that captures the essence of this bold and vibrant food staple.
From the initial launch, I have been deeply involved in shaping the Bad Jimmy's experience. As the creative lead, I have overseen the development of the website, ensuring it reflects the brand's edgy yet approachable personality. The merchandise program has been a focal point, with my designs featured in the restaurant's online webstore and on-site retail.
To maintain a cohesive brand presence, I manage the production and design of all branded restaurant materials, from photo-worthy food wrappers and coasters to attention-grabbing menus. Each element is carefully curated to immerse patrons in the Bad Jimmy's aesthetic from the moment they step through the doors, greeted by the music, aroma, and striking red that defines the space.
As the brand continues to grow, I oversee merchandise development, ensuring fans can sport Bad Jimmy's wherever they go. The brand's rapid success is a testament to the power of strategic design and a quality product, transforming a local burger spot into a lifestyle that resonates with Phoenix's creative scene and food enthusiasts alike. Bad Jimmy's stands as a prime example of how thoughtful branding can elevate a dining concept, creating an unforgettable experience that keeps customers coming back for more.
