Mount Sunny
In 2019 alongside my wife Dr. Shelby Ramirez, we founded Mount Sunny, an acupuncture and wellness brand rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. As co-founder and brand director, I've been responsible for creating and implementing the entire visual identity of the brand.
My role encompassed designing all aspects of Mount Sunny's visual presence, including packaging for our Body Balancing Blends, marketing materials, and the brand’s website. I developed a cohesive brand aesthetic that reflects our philosophy of bridging the gap between internal and external wellness.
The brand has expanded beyond our Phoenix-based acupuncture clinic to include a line of herbal supplements sold in stores like Free People and CAP Beauty. I've overseen creative initiatives such as our "COMPOST OR DYE" collection, which showcased naturally dyed clothing using food scraps, and collaborative projects like our partnership with Italian footwear brand DIEMME and a capsule collection with CAP Beauty among others.
Mount Sunny's growth from a local clinic to a multifaceted wellness brand with international reach demonstrates the power of cohesive branding and innovative product development in the health and lifestyle sector.
