Overview

Brand identity and environmental design for Better Days, the downtown Phoenix neighborhood bar from the team behind The Churchill.

Project story

Better Days sits on the top floor of the Gerardo's Building, a 1928 brick landmark in Phoenix's Warehouse District, from the team behind The Churchill. It bills itself as a high dive: one pool table, one dart board, checkerboard floors, red booths, and warm, dim light.

At OXY®, I led the brand identity and the environmental design, and the goal was always to keep that same neighborhood-bar ease in every mark and every corner of the room.

I love a good neighborhood bar, and this one knows exactly what it is.
